Brandon Lee Roberts   Brandon Lee Roberts Brandon was born in Williamsburg, Va., April 7, 1975. He passed away peacefully, Sept. 7, 2010, knowing that he was so loved by his family and friends.  

Milton Wexler   Milton Wexler HDF Founder Milton Wexler, psychoanalyst in Los Angeles for over fifty years, beloved father of Alice and Nancy, died at home on March 16, 2007, at the age of ninety-eight.

Alton "Buster" Blethen   Alden "Buster" Blethen Alden Blethen lived a full life despite ravages of disease — When friends and family remember Alden "Buster" Blethen, they don't talk of the man who was bedridden by a debilitating disease; they talk of the man who lived life to the fullest, who bore no bitterness from the ravages of his disease.

Mr. Blethen died Thursday from Huntington's disease, an inherited neurological disorder. He was 55.
 

Leslie Gehry Brenner   Leslie Gehry Brenner Leslie was a gifted artist who was creative with everything she touched. She drew magnifi cently and was an inspired painter, photographer and filmmaker.  

G. William 'Bill' Fox   G. William "Bill" Fox passed away on December 1, 2007, age 66, at his home in Medford, NJ surrounded by his loving family, and after a 17 year battle with Huntington's Disease  

Don Fritts   Don Fritts HDF Board of Director and friend Donald H. Fritts passed away at his home in Bakersfield on Thursday, May 4, 2006. A former publisher of The Bakersfield Californian, Don had been ill with Huntington's disease for many years."

Ruth Kirschstei   Ruth Kirschstein We are all deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Ruth Kirschstein's death last evening. She died peacefully, after battling a long illness. Our hearts go out to Ruth's husband, Dr. Al Rabson, and their son, Dr. Arnold Rabson.  

Vernon M. Ingram   Vernon M. Ingram died in Boston at the age of 82. Vernon had attended the HDF Biennial Symposium in Cambridge, MA the previous weekend. His recent research focused on neuroscience, including Huntington's disease and Alzheimer's disease.  

Harry Lieberman   Harry Lieberman of Haverford, PA. Husband of Evelyn (nee Gagliardi) and the late Betty (nee Jaffe) father of Deborah Fine, Barbara Dubroff and the late Joan Baumgarten, brother of Samuel Lieberman and the late Isaac "Jack" and Theodore Lieberman, also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Mike O'Brien   Mike O'Brien a resident of Seattle, Washington and formerly of Oswego, NY died Sunday May1, 2005 while climbing Mt. Everest with his brother Christopher O'Brien.  

Dick O'Neill   Dick O'Neill The Hereditary Disease Foundation was saddened by the death of longtime HDF Lifetime Trustee and dear friend, Richard “Dick” O’Neill. Dick and his wife, Donna, have been part of the Hereditary Disease Foundation family since its inception in 1968.

Max Palevsky   Max Palevsky died Wednesday of heart failure at his Beverly Hills home, said his wife, Jodie Evans. "I'm not sure the average person knows him," said television producer Norman Lear, a longtime friend, "but anybody interested in the arts has Max to thank for the way he supported arts in this town … and, if you cared for his politics, for who he supported. He was a very unique soul."  

Jack Penney   Jack Penney died suddenly of a heart attack on January 31, 1999, at the age of fifty-one.

Jack Penney was Professor of Neurology at the Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he treated patients and headed one of the premiere neuropharmacology research laboratories in the world. Together with Dr. Anne B. Young, Jack's life-long partner, wife and best friend.
