Young Investigator Prize

The Nancy S. Wexler Discovery Fund, established in 2020 to honor Nancy Wexler’s extraordinary contributions to Huntington’s disease research, raised over $1.4 million in its first year, thanks to the generosity of loyal friends such as you.

The Fund supports collaborative research, educational workshops, symposia and conferences, as well as the Young Investigator Prize in Nancy’s name. The first recipient of this Prize was Dr. Osama Al-Dalahmah, MD, DPhil, of Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Al-Dalahmah aims to discover ways to increase the brain’s ability to protect itself from damage in Huntington’s disease.

We launch the Nancy S. Wexler Discovery Fund 2021 with hope and determination. Your support will enable us to advance and accelerate the discovery and development of treatments and cures for HD.
